These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services and website of SolarWash CT ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Tate Industries LLC. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
Services
We provide solar panel cleaning, bird/critter guard installation, panel inspections, and related services for residential and commercial properties in Connecticut. Service details, scope, and pricing are set out in your quote or invoice.
Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are free and based on the information you provide (panel count, accessibility, condition). If on-site conditions differ materially from what was described, we will discuss any price adjustment with you before performing the work. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.
Scheduling, Access & Weather
You agree to provide safe access to your property and panels on the scheduled date. You do not need to be home if access has been arranged. Work is weather-dependent: we may reschedule for rain, high winds, or unsafe roof conditions at no charge to you. You may cancel or reschedule at no charge with reasonable notice before the appointment.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise stated on your invoice. We accept card payments (processed by Stripe), checks, and cash. Invoices include a secure online payment link. Maintenance plan pricing and discounts apply only while the plan is active.
Our Workmanship
We are fully insured and use manufacturer-recommended cleaning methods (deionized water and soft brushes; no high-pressure washing or abrasives). If you are not satisfied with a cleaning, contact us within 7 days and we will make it right. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects in panels, mounting, roofing, or wiring, and cleaning does not guarantee any specific level of energy production.
SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile number and consenting — during booking, by phone, or through our website — you agree to receive service-related text messages from SolarWash CT, including appointment confirmations, reminders, service reports, invoices and payment links, review requests, and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information — mobile numbers and texting consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Connecticut law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes will be resolved in the state courts of Connecticut.
